Vidamar Resort Hotel Madeira, Funchal (Madeira)

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and had a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens, pool area, and sea. The facilities were great, with two double beds, TV with English channels, and free WIFI. The service was exceptional, especially towards my elderly father, ensuring our comfort and even assisting with unexpected flight changes. The location was ideal for a relaxing getaway, though it could benefit from more greenery. The dining experience was top-notch, offering a delicious selection, including a fantastic buffet with complementary drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

My stay at the hotel was overall fantastic. The rooms were clean and modern with great views, although having only one bathroom could be a bit restrictive, especially with teenagers. The lack of a coffee machine was a downside, but the water heater provided instant coffee. Special thanks to our room maid Sandra Castro for maintaining our room at such a high standard throughout our stay.
